Space Stations need your help for the LAUNCH

A big part of Hickory Grove’s inaugural carnival, the LAUNCH, is the space stations set up in each grade area with space-themed hands-on activities.  We need parents to volunteer to help out.  But we also need the supplies for each craft.  To make it easier,  we have broken down the needs by grade.  If your child is in 1st grade, please donate off the 1st grade list, etc.  There are donation bins at the school where you can drop off items.  None of it is expensive.  If everyone can donate just one item, we’ll have a fantastic array of crafts!

Here’s a quick look at what we need:

Pre K/K:

Rolls of Lifesavers candy

Bags of Hersey Kisses

Elmer’s glue bottles

Boxes of Glue Dots

Bags of marshmallows – any size, shape or color

Bags of small gum drops

Candy Bars (no nuts, please)

Duck Tape (any color)

Candy to use as prizes (no nuts, please)

Flat sheets or table cloths (dark colors – black or navy)

Glow in the dark stickers or shapes

If you’d rather donate a few dollars and let us do the shopping, you can do that, too.  There’s a basket in the front office for donations.  As always, checks should be made out to HGES PTO.  Please put any donations in an envelope and label that it’s for the Launch space stations.

Thank you all for helping to make our inaugural carnival a BLAST!
